I had heard that every individual has a soul-mate; that every individual has someone specifically for them; that every individual can find someone who could make them smile just by looking at them, in fact, could make them smile even when not in sight but being in mind!I had heard it all

My experiences in terms of relationship compelled me to realize that what I had heard was wrong! I was led to believe that people read too much fictional romantic novels and that emotions were for fools. I concluded that relationship was a compatible arrangement rather than emotional attachment; more of a merger of interests rather than the union of souls and hence I led my life using my head rather than my heart.


Bottom line I did not experience love and developed reservations about its existence. Thus I was never truly happy!


Hence here I am as I refuse to give up simply because I believe that in everyone ''s life, at some time, the inner fire that results in happiness goes out. It can only be ignited and burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. I have faith I will find such a person for me.
